ELMS 4 Hours of Spa

As last year, the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps worth the trouble to be believe, penultimate run of the European Le Mans Series proposing a scenario with many twists and turns. Over four hours of a thrilling race, incidents have resulted in two entries of the safety car and three neutralisations Full Course Yellow. Finally, the Oreca 07-Gibson no.40 of Gustavo Yacaman, James Allen and Richard Bradley gives at the Graff team his first victory in LMP2.
Bradley received the checkered flag with only 6 tenths in advance on the Oreca no.22 of Ryo Hirakawa (G-Drive Racing), after that the British driver had to observe a penalty drive-through in the last minute of race. He resumed the track just before the Japanese driver, whose he manages to contain the assaults throughout the last round.
It's the SMP Racing Dallara no.27 of Egor Orudzhev and Matevos Issakyan, yet started since the 9th place, who completed the podium.

In category LMP3, the Ligier JS P3-Nissan no.9 signed also her first victory of the AT Racing team. After having imposed in LMGTE in 2015 at the circuit of Imola, Alexander Talkanitsa father and son entered in the most closed club of the drivers who wons the ELMS in two different categories. On the highest step of the podium at Spa-Francorchamps, the family Talkanitsa shared this success with their Danish teammate Mikkel Jensen.
Unhappy for several races in the European Le Mans Series, the team Duqueine Engineering had finally conjured the fate on the occasion of the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the Norma M 30 no.7 of David Droux, Antonin Borga and Nicolas Schatz finished at the second step of the podium at the end of an exciting race. Stopped in his tracks by a hanging in the middle of the race, the no.8 of Vincent Beltoise, Lucas Légeret and Nicolas Melin must settle with a 13th frustrating place.

After an epic brawl, the LMGTE category see the victory of the Spirit of Race Ferrari no.51 and his 100% Italian crew, composed of Giorgio Roda, Rino Mastronardi and Andrea Bertolini.
